LA EXISTENCIA DEL DIBORANO EN EL AIRE SE VERIFICA CON UNA GRAN SENSIBILIDAD (ZONA DE PPB) Y CON UNA ALTA SELECTIVIDAD. GRACIAS A ELLO, EL PRESENTE INVENTO ESTA INDICADO PARA EL CONTROL DE LOS PUESTOS DE TRABAJO Y LAS SALAS DE TRABAJO, RESPECTIVAMENTE, DE LA EMISION DEL DIBORANO DE LAS PLANTAS INDUSTRIALES, Y OTROS. LA VERIFICACION ESTA BASADA EN EL ANALISIS DEL GAS DE IONIZACION DE AEROSOLES, Y LA MISMA CONSISTE EN EL HECHO DE QUE A LA CORRIENTE DE AIRE SE AÑADE - ADICIONALMENTE A LA AMINA - UN ELEMENTO REACTIVO QUE NO ENTRA EN REACCION CON LA AMINA PERO QUE, EN CONJUNTO CON ELDIBORANO, REACCIONA PARA CONSTITUIR UNA COMBINACION QUE CONJUNTAMENTE CON LA AMINA FORMA LOS AEROSOLES. EN ESTE CASO, LOS AEROSOLES OBTENIDOS POR ESTA REACCION CONSTITUYEN EL EFECTO PRINCIPAL DE MEDICION. LAS PERTURBACIONES DEBIDO AL CONTENIDO DEL DIOXIDO DE AZUFRE SO2 EN EL AIRE SON ELIMINADAS POR EL EMPLEO DEL SO2 EN UNAS CONCENTRACIONES DE > 3,5 PPM.
