CONCRETAMENTE SE PARTE DE UN DERIVADO FORMADOR DE AMIDAS DEL ACIDO 3,5 DIACETILAMINO 2,4,6 TRIYODO BENZOICO, TAL COMO SU CLORURODE ACIDO O SU ESTER METILICO O ETILICO, EL CUAL SE HACE REACCIONAR CON CLORURO DE TIONILO Y CON METAL O ETANOL. EL COMPUESTO RESULTANTE SE SOMETE A REACCION DE ALQUILACION CON EPICLORIDRINA O 3-CLORO 1,2 PROPANORIOL.
