EL INVENTO SE REFIERE A PROYECTILES ESTABILIZADOS POR TORSION CON CINTA GUIADORA DISPUESTA SOBRE LA ENVOLTURA DEL PROYECTIL, QUE PARA EL ALOJAMIENTO DEL MATERIAL DE LA CINTA GUIADORA RECORTADO HACIA ATRAS DURANTE EL PASO DEL PROYECTIL A TRAVES DE UN CAÑON DEL ARMA, PRESENTE RANURAS, DE MODO QUE LA TRANSMISION DE LA TORSION SE EFECTUA CON AYUDA DE ZONAS DE CINTAS GUIADORAS ANULARES, SIENDO EL DIAMETRO, POR LO MENOS, DE UN ANILLO DE TRANSMISION DE TORSION MAYOR QUE EL DIAMETRO DE LOS PASOS DE RAYADO DEL CAÑON DEL ARMA. POR RAZON DE LA ALTA PRESION RADIAL SOBRE LA ENVOLTURA DEL PROYECTIL EN LA ZONA DE LA CINTA GUIADORA, ESPECIALMENTE EN EL CASO DE ENVOLTURAS DE PROYECTIL DE PAREDES DELGADAS, PUEDEN OCURRIR GRANDES DEFORMACIONES RADIALES.
