LA BACTERIOCINA SE PRODUCE ESPECIALMENTE POR PEDIOCOCCUS ACIDILACTICI, QUE CONTIENE UN PLASMIDO DE 6,2 MDAL (9,4 PARES DE KILOBASE) QUE CODIFICA PARA LA BACTERIOCINA.
