Abstract

The hydraulic force detector comprises a first piece or piston 1 which is in contact with the piece 2 subjected to the force to be detected, the second piece or jacket 4 inside which slides the first piece or piston 1, displacing a fluid, and a third piece 5 for supporting the jacket 4 in which is mounted a pressure transducer 6, the second piece or jacket 4 and the third, support piece 5 being traversed by an orifice 7 in such a manner that the fluid subjected to pressure inside the jacket 4 is in contact with the transducer 6. The safety and control device comprises a comparator device connected to the detector in order to stop a machine when the pressure exceeds a pre-set value. It also comprises a control device and a regulator device for controlling a magnitude as a function of the pressure detected.
