Abstract

It comprises a base frame to which the seat is connected in an articulated manner by means of a mechanism which locks different positions of tilt thereof and which consists of two transverse shafts joined together with two telescopic columns which comprise means for locking their extension. The present improvements are characterized in that said locking means are mechanical and simple and are composed of a lever 17 articulated between the two outer elements 8b of the telescopic columns 8 and in that, at one of its ends, it has, laterally, individual dowels 19' which penetrate respective holes 20 in said elements 8b and which are housed selectively in one of the holes 21 provided along the inner elements 8a of the columns 8, the lever 17 being pushed by elastic means 24 towards its active locking position.
