EN UNA PURIFICACION AEROBIA DE AGUAS RESIDUALES CON ALIMENTACION A MODO DE EMPUJE HASTA EL TANQUE BIOLOGICO, DEL CUAL EL AGUA TRATADA FLUYE CONTINUAMENTE, SE DISMINUYE AL MISMO TIEMPO EL CONTENIDO DE NITRATO EN LAS AGUAS RESIDUALES, Y LA AIREACION DEL TANQUE BIOLOGICO, EMPEZANDO CON LA AFLUENCIA DE LAS AGUAS AL TANQUE ES < = 0,5 MG/L DE OXIGENO DISUELTO HASTA QUE EL CONTENIDO DE NITRATO EN EL TANQUE ESTE POR DEBAJO DE 5 MG/L, ESPECIALMENTE BAJO 1 MG/L. PARA LAS AGUAS RESIDUALES COMUNALES SE TRABAJA POR CONVENIENCIA CON UN TIEMPO DE TRABAJO DE 1 HORA Y LA AIREACION, COMENZANDO CON ALIMENTACION RAPIDA DE LAS AGUAS RESIDUALES, SE DETIENE A LOS 5 MIN. LA CARGA DE ALIMENTACION ES DE 5<= 30% Y ESPECIALMENTE ENTRE 5 Y 20 % DEL CONTENIDO DEL TANQUE BIOLOGICO. TRABAJANDO SEGUN ESTE PROCEDIMIENTO, SE AGOTA EL NITRATO PRESENTE EN LA FASE CON ESTRANGULACION DE OXIGENO, MIENTRAS EN LA FASE FINAL (TRANSCURRIDO MAS TIEMPO SE TRANSFORMA EN NITRATO EL AMONIO INTRODUCIDO CON LOAS AGUAS, LO QUE ORIGINA UNAPOBLACION NITRIFICANTE CRECIENTE EN EL ESTANQUE BIOLOGICA.
