CONSISTE EN : CONSIDERAR LAS MUESTRAS DE LA SEÑAL DE ESPECTRO SUMINISTRADAS PARA ANALIZAR, DURANTE UN INTERVALO DE TIEMPO CORRESPONDIENTE A LA DURACION DEL PALIER : CONSIDERAR UNA SERIE DE CORTES EN LA ESCALA DE LAS AMPLITUDES ; CONTAR EL NUMERO DE MUESTRAS QUE TIENEN UN VALOR PERTENECIENTE A UN CORTE DADO, SUCESIVAMENTE PARA CADA UNO DE LOS CORTES ; DETERMINAR QUE CORTE CORRESPONDE AL MAYOR NUMERO DE MUESTRAS, EL VALOR CORRESPONDIENTE A ESTE CORTE CONSTITUYENDO EL VALOR DE LA AMPLITUD DEL PALIER. APLICACION A LOS BANCOS DE MEDIDA AUTOMATICOS.
