PROCEDIMIENTO PARA OBTENER MASAS DE CELULAS DE ALGODON EN SUSPENSIONES LIQUIDAS Y QUE PRESENTA LOS SIGUIENTES PASOS: A) INDUCCION DE LA FORMACION DE CALUS DE ALGODON A APROX. 20 A 40 C, EN EL QUE EL TEJIDO DE ALGODON SE COLOCA SOBRE UN MEDIO APROPIADO PARA LA INDUCCION DE CALCUS, CON POSTERIORES PASOS DE CULTIVO Y QUE EVITAN EL BRONCEADO. B) SUSPENSION DE HASTA 40 MG/ML DE CALUS EN UN MEDIO LIQUIDO APROPIADO QUE INDUCE MASAS DE CELULAS, QUE CONTIENEN UNA CONCENTRACION RELATIVAMENTE BAJA DE POR LO MENOS UNA AUXINA, HASTA QUE SE FORMAN ACUMULACIONES PROEMBRIONALES DE MASAS DE CELULAS, QUE SE MULTIPLICAN RAPIDAMENTE. C) TRASPASO DE LAS CONCENTRACIONES QUE SE MULTIPLICAN RAPIDAMENTE A UN MEDIO LIQUIDO EN EL QUE SE FORMAN MASAS CELULARES PEQUEÑAS CONTENIENDO EL CITADO MEDIO UNA CONCENTRACION RELATIVAMENTE ALTA CON POR LO MENOS UNA AUXINA.
