LA INVENCION TIENE POR OBJETO UN PROCEDIMIENTO PARA LA FABRICACION DE UN ELEMENTO METALICO ABSORTOR DE NEUTRONES ENFUNDADO, QUE CONSISTE EN LAS OPERACIONES SIGUIENTES: A) SE PREPARAN PRODUCTOS METALICOS COMPACTABLES QUE TIENEN (% EN MASA): HF = POR LO MENOS 25 %; ZR Y/O ALEACIONES DE ZR = 0-75 %; TI Y/O ALEACIONES DE TI = 0-75 %; ALEACIONES DE HF-ZR DE CONTENIDO EN ZR<55 % = 0-75 %; ALEACIONES DE HF-TI DE CONTENIDO EN TI<55 % = 0-75 %; ELEMENTOS METALICOS ABSORBENTES DE LOS NEUTRONES Y QUE FUNDEN A MAS QUE 400 (GRADOS) C:<0,2 %; OTROS ELEMENTOS METALICOS QUE FUNDEN A MAS DE 400 (GRADOS) C, 0 A RESTO, SIENDO ESTE RESTO INFERIOR A 5 %; B) SE INTRODUCE UNA PARTE POR LO MENOS DE ESTOS PRODUCTOS EN UN RECIPIENTE METALICO QUE TIENE UN EXTREMO ABIERTO; C) SE LES COMPRIME EN ESTE RECIPIENTE, O SE LES HA COMPRIMIDO ANTES DE INTRODUCIRLOS EN EL RECIPIENTE; D) SI ES NECESARIO, SE REPITEN LAS INTRODUCCIONES Y COMPRESIONES DE DICHOS PRODUCTOS HASTA LLENAR EL RECIPIENTE HASTA POR LO MENOS 95 %; E) SE CIERRA EL EXTREMO ABIERTO DEL RECIPIENTE POR SOLDADURA DE UNA TAPADERA O DE UN TAPON ASEGURANDO UN VACIO INTERIOR.
