EL ANODO ES UN METAL ELEGIDO EN EL GRUPO CONSTITUIDO POR METALES REDUCTORES Y SUS ALEACIONES, PREFERENTEMENTE DE CINC, ALUMINIO Y MAGNESIO. EL CATODO, INERTE, ESTA RECUBIERTO PREFERENTEMENTE POR UN DEPOSITO ELECTROLITICO DE CINC, CADMIO, PLOMO O ESTAÑO.
