PROCESO PARA PRODUCIR BISFENOL A DE ALTA PUREZA QUE COMPRENDE HACER REACCIONAR FENOL CON ACETONA EN PRESENCIA DE UN CATALIZADOR ACIDO PARA OBTENER UNA MEZCLA, SEPARAR EL CATALIZADOR ACIDO DE LA MEZCLA PRODUCIENDOSE ASI UNA MEZCLA LIQUIDA, TRATAR ESTA MEZCLA LIQUIDA CON UNA RESINA CAMBIADORA DE IONES, DEBILMENTE BASICA, QUE TIENE GRUPOS PIRIDILO COMO GRUPOS CAMBIADORES, Y PURIFICAR LA MEZCLA LIQUIDA TRATADA. EL PROCESO NO CAUSA CORROSION DEL EQUIPO NI DESCOMPOSICION O ALTERACION DEL CALOR DEL BISFENOL A DURANTE LA DESTILACION.
