SE DESCRIBE UN PROCESO DE CUANTIFICACION DE BACTERIAS DE GAS METANO EN EL QUE SE EXPONE UNA PRUEBA REPRESENTATIVA DE UN MEDIO CON BACTERIAS DE GAS METANO DURANTE UN SEGUNDO COMO MAXIMO A UNA RADIACION CORTA DE LUZ DE LONGITUD DE ONDA 395-440 NM Y SE DETERMINA POR CITOMETRIA DE PASO LA FLUORESCENCIA EXCITADA DE ESTA FORMA. CON ESTE PROCESO ES POSIBLE LA DETERMINACION DE BACTERIAS DE GAS METANO IN SITU SIN EXTRACCION PREVIA. EL PROCESO RESULTA ESPECIALMENTE ADECUADO PARA EL CONTROL Y REGULACION DE REACTORES CON BACTERIAS METANOGENAS.
