SE DESCRIBE UN PROCEDIMIENTO PARA LA PREPARACION DE COMPUESTOS DE GLICIDILO, POR REACCION DE UN COMPUESTO QUE CONTIENE POR LO MENOS UN GRUPO FENOLICO CON LA CANTIDAD EQUIVALENTE DE UNA HIDRINA HALOGENADA, CALCULADA POR EL GRUPO FENOLICO, EN UN DISOLVENTE APROTICO, ANHIDRO, EN PRESENCIA DE UN CATALIZADOR SOLIDO ANHIDRO, A TEMPERATURA ENTRE 40-80 C EN PRESENCIA DE UN CARBONATO ALCALINO, CON UNA CONSTANTE DIELECTRICA RELATIVA ESTATICA MAYOR DE 25 Y UN MOMENTO DE DIPOLO ELECTRICO PERMANENTE, MAYOR DE 25D. LAS RESINAS OBTENIDAS POR ESTE METODO DESCRITO POSEEN UN ELEVADO GRADO DE EPOXIDACION Y UN PEQUEÑO CONTENIDO DE HALOGENO HIDROLIZABLE O IONICO. SON ESPECIALMENTE ADECUADAS COMO RESINAS DE REVESTIMIENTO PARA COMPONENTES ELECTRONICOS.
