Abstract

An in-the-ear hearing aid has an otoplasty element (16) with a face plate (12) closing it off. Arranged on the face plate is a decorative element (28) which is designed in two parts. A base plate is connected mechanically, for example locked, to the face plate (12), and a cover plate (32) is connected pivotally to the base plate (30) by means of a pivot pin (34). The base plate (30) has an opening (36) in the middle area, through which access can be gained to setting means (22) and the battery compartment (20) when the cover plate (32) is pivoted to the side. <IMAGE>
