LOS ENSAYOS BIOLOGICOS E INMUNOLOGICOS DEMUESTRAN QUE EL IFN-BETA AISLADO ES AMPLIAMENTE IDENTICO CONEL IFN-BETA NATURAL. EL IFN-BETA OBTENIDO CON EL PROCEDIMIENTO DESCRITO ESTA GLICOLIZADO EN UN 95%, COINCIDIENDO AMPLIAMENTE LA GLICOLIZACION,TANTO EN ESTRUCTURA COMO EN SECUENCIA, CON LA DEL IFN-BETA NATURL, AUNQUE NO ES IDENTICA A ELLA.
