Abstract

METODO Y APARATO PARA LLEVAR A CABO LA INSPECCION IN SITU DEL EJE DE UNA BOMBA. UN ACOPLAMIENTO ESPACIADOR O JUNTA SE RETIRA MANUALMENTE DESDE UNA ZONA DE ACCESO LIMITADA INTERMEDIA ENTRE EL EXCITADOR DE LA BOMBA Y LA PARTE SUPERIOR DEL EJE DE LA BOMBA. LA INSPECCION SE LLEVA ENTONCES A CABO A TRAVES DE UN HUECO DE INSPECCION PREVIAMENTE FORMADO QUE SE EXTIENDE CONCENTRICAMENTE A LO LARGO DEL INTERIOR DEL EJE. SE INTRODUCE UNA SONDA SOPORTADA POR UN MONTAJE DE EXTENSION EN EL HUECO DE INSPECCION HASTA QUE SE IDENTIFICAN LAS PARTES CARACTERIZABLES DEL EJE COMO POR EJEMPLO UNA ZONA DE CIERRE DE LABERINTO. UNA ZONA PEQUEÑA DISCRETA DE INTERES QUE INICIALMENTE PRESENTARA MUESTRAS DE UNA CONDICION DE FALLO SE INSPECCIONARA ENTONCES MEDIANTE UN MOVIMIENTO DE EXPLORACION DE RASTREO DE LA SONDA DE INSPECCION. LOS COMPONENTES MAS BAJOS DE LA ZONA DE INTERES SE IDENTIFICAN TAMBIEN MEDIANTE UNA SIGUIENTE REGION CARACTERIZABLE ADYACENTE COMO POR EJEMPLO UNA SOLDADURA DE FILETE PARA UN MONTAJE DE COJINETE. DEBIDO A LA EXTENSION LONGITUDINAL LIMITADA DE LA ZONA DE INTERES, SE PUEDE LLEVAR A CABO UN MOVIMIENTO DE TIPO RASTREO DE LA SONDA.
