RELOJES DE SISTEMA OPERATIVO DE ESTACION EN UNA RED DE ANILLOS QUE SE SINCRONIZAN ALMACENANDO LA CUENTA EN UN CONTADOR NO SINCRONIZADO SITUADO EN LA INTERFAZ DE RED DE CADA ESTACION EN EL MOMENTO EN QUE SE RECIBE UN MENSAJE DE RELOJ TRANSMITIDO POR UNA ESTACION CRONOMETRO. SEGUIDAMENTE LA ESTACION CRONOMETRO CALCULA, SU TIEMPO DE RECEPCION DEL MENSAJE DEL RELOJ Y TRANSMITE A LAS DEMAS ESTACIONES ESTE TIEMPO DE RECEPCION DE LA SEÑAL DE CRONOMETRO.
