Sistema de comunicaciones móvil que comprende una pluralidad de estaciones base (10,13,16,20,23,26), y una red conmutada de paquetes (40,41,50,51,52) para conectar cualquier estación base a cualquier otra estación base, caracterizado porque se asocia una unidad de interface respectiva (10a,13a,16a,20a,23a,26a) a cada una de las estaciones base, comprendiendo cada unidad de interface medios de empaquetado (68,69) para empaquetar señales de control y señales de datos, y medios de seguimiento (61 a 67) para seguir la dirección de la situación física actual de un terminal móvil (30,31,45,46) a/desde los que deben transmitirse señales de control y/o datos.
