EL SULFURO DE POLIFENILENO ES EL PRODUCTO DE UNA MEZCLA DE UN 60 A 90% EN PESO DE UN SULFURO DE POLIFENILENO MACROMOLECULAR CON UN INDICE MELT-FLOW DE 100, COMO MAXIMO, Y UN 10 A 40% EN PESO DE UN SULFURO DE POLIFENILENO DE BAJO PESO MOLECULAR CON UN INDICE MELT-FLOW DE 120, COMO MINIMO. ESTA FIBRA TIENE MAS O MENOS LA MISMA RESISTENCIA LONGITUDINAL QUE UNA FIBRA FABRICADA PURAMENTE DE SULFURO DE POLIFENILENO MACROMOLECULAR, MIENTRAS QUE LA SUPERA CONSIDERABLEMENTE EN LA FUERZA DE TRACCION MAXIMA RELATIVA DE NUDOS.
