Abstract

A closure for containers comprises a cap section (1) which can be fitted on the container with a pouring nozzle (6) which is connected to the cap section (1) in one piece by a foil hinge (9) and by a flexible folding wall (10) so that it can be pivoted between a first and second position. The pouring nozzle (6) contains a through passage (7) as part of the flow path (A) between the inside of the cap section (1) and the outside which is open in the first position of the pouring nozzle (8) and closed in the second position by a sealing pin (5) engaging in an end region of the through passage (6). The sealing pin (5) is fitted at the inner end of the pouring nozzle (6) and outside the flow path (A) in such a way that, when the pouring nozzle (6) is pivoted into the second position, a region of the folding wall (10) is pressed into the inner end region of the through passage (7) by the sealing pin (5).
