Abstract
Un método para fabricar una lente de contacto coloreada que comprende las etapas de: a) proporcionar una lente de contacto construida a base de (1) polímeros no hidrófilos que tienen grupos funcionales seleccionados de al menos uno de -COOH, -OH, y -NH-R, donde R es hidrógeno o alquilo C1 a C8 o (2)polímeros hidrófilos; b) revestir al menos una porción de una superficie de la lente con una capa de color que comprende al menos un pigmento, polímero de fijación que tiene grupos funcionales seleccionados de al menos uno de -COOH, -OH, y -NH-R, donde R es hidrógeno o alquilo C1 a C8, y un promotor de adhesión que tiene al menos dos grupos funcionales por molécula de la fórmula -CH2O-R 1 en la cual R 1 es hidrógeno o alquilo C1 a C16, y dichos grupos -CH2-O-R 1 están unidos a un átomo de carbono que forma parte de un anillo aromático, o unidos a un átomo de nitrógeno o de oxígeno; c) someter la lente revestida a condiciones que hacen que la capa de color se fije a la lente.
