LA INVENCION SE REFIERE A UN METODO PARA FABRICAR PAPEL A PARTIR DE PULPA BLANQUEADA O ALCALINA TRATADA MEDIANTE LA REDUCCION DE AGUA DE LA PULPA LA CUAL CONTIENE FIBRAS VEGETALES BLANQUEADAS O ALCALINAS DE ESPECIES LEÑOSAS O NO LEÑOSAS. SE HA DEMOSTRADO QUE DICHAS PULPAS BLANQUEADAS O ALCALINAS CONTIENEN UNA CANTIDAD SUBSTANCIAL DE PECTINAS PERJUDICIALES. MEDIANTE LA INCORPORACION DE PECTINASA EN LA PULPA BLANQUEADA O ALCALINA TALES PECTINAS NOCIVAS DE LA FASE ACUOSA DE LA PULPA SE DEGRADAN Y SE EVITAN DE ESTA FORMA DAÑOS EN EL PROCESO DE FABRICACION DEL PAPEL.
