APLICANDO UNA TENSION ELECTRICA A LAS POLEAS (3A, 4) EL VALOR DE RESISTENCIA ELECTRICA OFRECIDO POR LA CORREA (2) SE DETECTA, ESTE VALOR SE COMPARA CON UN VALOR DE REFERENCIA AL QUE CORRESPONDE UN GRADO DADO DE DESGASTE DE LA CORREA. CUANDO EL VALOR DE RESISTENCIA DETECTADO SOBREPASA EL VALOR DE REFERENCIA SE EMITE UNA SEÑAL DE PELIGRO. LA SEÑAL DE PELIGRO SE INHIBE DURANTE EL FUNCIONAMIENTO DE LA CORREA Y DURANTE UN TIEMPO DE ESPERA PREFIJADO QUE COMIENZA EN EL MOMENTO EN QUE LA CORREA PARA, PARA EVITAR QUE SE ALTERE LA DETECCION DE RESISTENCIA POR CARGAS ELECTROSTATICAS PRESENTES EN UNA DE LAS POLEAS (3A, 4) Y/O LA ELEVADA TEMPERATURA EN LA VECINDAD DE LA CORREA (2).
