Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide an intake device for a scooter type vehicle which is constituted to suck clean fresh air freed from dust and mud water to an air cleaner. CONSTITUTION:In a scooter type vehicle 20 wherein a car body cover 28 having an apron part 28a is arranged below a driver's seat 31 and an air cleaner 38 is installed to the upper part of a swing type power unit 34, a fresh air suction port 41 is formed integrally with the apron part 28a. The fresh air suction port 41 is connected to the intake port 43 of the air cleaner 38 through a connecting means 44.
