Abstract
LOS METODOS DE LA PRESENTE INVENCION UTILIZAN SANGRE DE MUJERES EMBARAZADAS Y AMPLIACION DE CELULA FETAL PARA FACILITAR UN DIAGNOSTICO PRENATAL SIN INVADIR EL ESPACIO FETAL. ESTE METODO ES MENOS INVASIVO Y MAS SENCILLO QUE UNA MUESTRA POR AMNIOCENTESIS O VELLOSIDADES DEL CORION PORQUE IMPLICA UNICAMENTE EXTRAER SANGRE DE LA MADRE PARA OBTENER UNA MUESTRA DE CELULA FETAL. SI HAY UNA ENFERMEDAD ESPECIFICA CON MUTACIONES MOLECULARES CONOCIDAS BUSCADAS, LAS CELULAS DE LA MUESTRA SON UNA FUENTE DE ADN ENRIQUECIDO DE MATERIAL FETAL. SI LA ENFERMEDAD ES UNA QUE IMPLIQUE A LAS CELULAS ROJAS, ESTE METODO PROPORCIONA CELULAS ROJAS FETALES PARA ANALISIS. SI LA ENFERMEDAD IMPLICA A LAS CELULAS BLANCAS, PUEDEN UTILIZARSE DIFERENTES CITOQUINAS PARA PRODUCIR SELECTIVAMENTE LEUCOCITOS FETALES. CUANDO SE BUSCA UN MODELO DE CROMOSOMA ANOMALO SIN UN RIESGO DE DIAGNOSTICO ESPECIFICO (POR EJEMPLO, EDAD MATERNA AVANZADA), ENTONCES EL METODO DE CULTIVO PROPORCIONA DIVISION DE CELULAS DE ORIGEN FETAL.
