LAS ENTRADAS DEL AMPLIFICADOR (A) SE CONECTAN AL RESISTOR (RS) Y LA SALIDA SE CONECTA A LA PUERTA DEL TRANSISTOR MOS DE MANERA QUE, DURANTE SU FUNCIONAMIENTO, LA CORRIENTE MAXIMA QUE FLUYE A TRAVES DEL TRANSISTOR DE POTENCIA ESTA LIMITADA A UN VALOR PROPORCIONAL A UN VOLTAJE DE REFERENCIA (VR).
