ADSORBENTE DE ALUMINA CAPAZ DE ADSORBER NOX Y SOX DE LOS GASES DE DESECHO Y REGENERABLE MEDIANTE EL CALENTAMIENTO A MAS DE 600 GRADOS C, FABRICADO INCORPORANDO UN AGENTE ESTABILIZANTE DE ALUMINA AL ADSORBENTE. UN METODO MAS ADECUADO ES AÑADIR EL ESTABILIZADOR CUANDO SE PRECIPITA LA ALUMINA. EL POLVO PRECIPITADO SE TRANSFORMA DESPUES EN UNA LECHADA MOLIDO Y GOTEADO PARA FORMAR LAS PARTICULAS DE ALUMINA ESFEROIDALES ESTABILIZADAS. ESTAS PARTICULAS ESTAN IMPREGNADAS CON UN METAL ALCALINO O METAL TERREO ALCALINO PARA FORMAR EL ADSORBENTE ESTABILIZADO. LOS ESTABILIZADORES DE ALUMINA INCLUYE UNO O MAS DE LOS SIGUIENTES: SILICE, LANTANA, OTRAS TIERRAS RARAS, TITANIA, ZIRCONIA Y TIERRAS ALCALINAS.
