SEGUN LA INVENCION, ESTOS POLIEDROS POSEEN UNA SECCION SENSIBLEMENTE POLIGONAL CUYAS DIMENSIONES SON INFERIORES AL MILIMETRO Y CUYOS ANGULOS SON REDONDEADOS CON UN RADIO DE CURBATURA INFERIOR A 10 MICRONES. LA INVENCION PROPONE TAMBIEN UN PROCESO DE FABRICACION Y UN DISPOSITIVO PARA SU APLICACION.
