EN UN PROCESO, UN SUSTRATO AROMATICO ES REACCIONADO CON UN SILICATO, OPCIONALMENTE MODIFICADO CON UN NITRATO DE METAL, EN LA PRESENCIA DE ANHIDRIDO DE ACIDO Y UN DISOLVENTE ORGANICO, SEGUIDO DE LA ADICION DE CANTIDADES REDUCIDAS DE ACIDO NITRICO. EL AISLAMIENTO DE LOS PRODUCTOS NITRACION CONLLEVA LA FILTRACION, LAVADO Y ELIMINACION DEL DISOLVENTE. ESTE PROCESO PUEDE PRODUCIR COMPUESTOS AROMATICOS MONOO POLINITRIFICADOS DEPENDIENDO DE LAS CONDICIONES SELECCIONADAS Y DEL SUSTRATO AROMATICO. LA PRESENTE INVENCION TAMBIEN PROPORCIONA PROCESOS RELACIONADOS PARA LA NITRACION DE SUSTRATOS AROMATICOS FUERTEMENTE ACTIVADOS UTILIZANDO SOLO SILICATOS MODIFICADOS CON NITRATO DE METAL EN LA PRESENCIA DE ANHIDRIDOS DE ACIDO Y UN DISOLVENTE ORGANICO.
