Abstract

EL CLORURO MEPIQUAT SE FORMA DE LA REACCION ENTRE N ILPIPERIDINA Y CLOROMETANO, EN UN DISOLVENTE LIQUIDO ANHIDRO, EN AUSENCIA DE HIDROXIDO SODICO. EL CLORURO MEPIQUAT SE PRECIPITA COMO UN SOLIDO DE GRAN PUREZA, Y SE RECUPERA EN UNA ATMOSFERA SUSTANCIALMENTE LIBRE DE HUMEDAD. EL CLORURO SOLIDO MEPIQUAT PUEDE ENCERRARSE HERMETICAMENTE EN UNA BOLSA SOLUBLE EN AGUA, O DENTRO DE UNA FORMA SOLIDA ENCAPSULADA SOLUBLE EN AGUA (POR EJEMPLO, GRANULOS, PILDORAS, O BRIQUETAS) PARA SU MANEJO CONVENIENTE. LA BOLSA CONTIENE CLORURO MEPIQUAT EN POLVO, O EL SOLIDO ENCAPSULADO SE INTRODUCE SIMPLEMENTE Y DE FORMA DIRECTA DENTRO DE UN DEPOSITO ROCIADOR, PARA SU APLICACION CON ESCASA EXPOSICION DE LAS PERSONAS, Y SIN CONTENEDORES EN CONTACTO CON EL CLORURO MEPIQUAT QUE REQUIERE DISTRIBUCION. EL CLORURO MEPIQUAT SE USA COMO UN COMPONENTE DE UN SISTEMA PARA EL DESARROLLO DE PLANTAS DE MERCANCIAS, INCLUYENDO EL ALGODON. EL PRIMER COMPONENTE ES UN REGULADOR DEL DESARROLLO DE LA PLANTA, APLICADO AL MENOS UNA VEZ, DE: (A) UN SURCO PARA SEMILLAS DE PLANTA DE ALGODON, (B) A UNA PLANTA DE ALGODON QUE TIENE LAS PRIMERAS HOJAS SEGURAS, (C) A UNA PLANTA DE ALGODON, EN PROPORCION MUY PEQUEÑA, Y (D) A UNA PLANTA DE ALGODON EN FLORACION PRECOZ.
