PROCEDIMIENTO PARA LA PRODUCCION CONTINUA Y DISCONTINUA DE POLIMEROS TETRAHIDROFURANOS MEDIANTE HOMOPOLIMERIZACION DE LA TETRAHIDROFURANA O COPOLIMERIZACION DE LA TETRAHIDROFURANA CON 1,2 IENEN HIDROGENO REACTIVO O ANHIDRIDOS DE ACIDO CARBOXILICO EN EL CATALIZADOR DE SILICATO DE ALUMINIO QUE HA SIDO TRATADO CON ACIDO, CALCINADO Y GRANULADO, QUE PUEDE ESTAR COMPUESTO POR UN SILICATO DE ALUMINIO AMORFO, UNA ZEOLITA O CAOLIN. MANTENIENDO CONSTANTE LA CONCENTRACION DE ANHIDRIDO DE ACIDO CARBOXILICO O DE ALQUILENOOXIDO, POR DEBAJO DE UN 1 % EN PESO EN LA PREPARACION DE POLIMERIZACION, SE CONSIGUE SUPRIMIR CONSIDERABLEMENTE LA FORMACION DE ETERES CICLICOS Y OBTENER UN POLIMERO MUY BIEN DISTRIBUIDO. LOS CATALIZADORES MUESTRAN EN FORMA GRANULADA UNA ACTIVIDAD NO CONOCIDA HASTA LA FECHA, FORMANDO UNOS POLIMEROS MUY BIEN DISTRIBUIDOS, CON UN INDICE DE COLOR Y ACIDEZ BAJO.
