SE PROPONE UN APARATO DE CONEXION PREVIA PARA AL MENOS UNA LAMPARA DE DESCARGA DE GAS CON - UN RECTIFICADOR DE CORRIENTE, QUE MUESTRA DOS INTERRUPTORES (S1, S2) CONECTADOS EN SERIE EN CONTRACONTACTO Y A SU VEZ EN CONEXION CON UNA FUENTE DE TENSION CONTINUA Y UN CIRCUITO DE CARGA CONECTADO DE FORMA PARALELA CON RESPECTO A AMBOS INTERRUPTORES (S1, S2), QUE CONTIENE UN CIRCUITO (L1, C1) DE RESONANCIA EN SERIE Y LA LAMPARA (LA). ADICIONALMENTE SE HA PREVISTO INCLUSO CIRCUITOS (T, S3, R1) DE CALENTAMIENTO CONECTADOS AL RECTIFICADOR DE CORRIENTE PARA ABASTECIMIENTO DE CORRIENTE DE CONVERTIDOR DE LAMPARAS, QUE CONTIENE OTRO INTERRUPTOR (S3) CONECTABLE PERIODICAMENTE PARA EL CONTROL DE LA CORRIENTE DE CALENTAMIENTO.
