TRAS LLEVAR A CABO UN TRATAMIENTO DE DESCARBURACION A PRESION ATMOSFERICA EN EL HORNO DE AFINADO A BASE DE INYECTAR UN GAS QUE CONTENGA OXIGENO EN EL ACERO FUNDIDO, SE SIGUE LLEVANDO A CABO UNA DESCARBURACION DEL ACERO FUNDIDO Y UNA REDUCCION DE LOS OXIDOS DE CROMO BAJO AGITACION A BASE DE INYECTAR UN GAS NO OXIDANTE A PRESION REDUCIDA Y, A CONTINUACION, SE CARGA UN AGENTE REDUCTOR EN EL HORNO PARA REDUCIR LOS OXIDOS DE CROMO MANTENIENDO LA PRESION REDUCIDA.
