Abstract

Una pila de lavabo o fregadero y método para su fabricación.La pila presenta la particularidad de estar conformada totalmente en vidrio, definiendo un espesor comprendido entre 1 y 3 centímetros. El método para la fabricación de la misma contempla la utilización de una porción de vidrio plano, cuya periferia se dispone entre un soporte tubular inferior y un peso anular superior, siendo sometido el conjunto a una temperatura inferior a la de fusión del vidrio y durante un tiempo determinado, durante el cual tiene lugar la deformación por propio peso de la zona central de la pieza de vidrio inicial.
