Abstract

El invento consiste en un sistema de medición directa e indirecta del proceso de intercambio de calor entre dos fluidos, uno de los cuales provoca el crecimiento de película biológica en el interior de los tubos de un haz tubular (biofouling) debido a que ese fluido contiene microorganismos. El sistema valora en continuo el crecimiento del biofouling adherido en la superficie interna del tubo de un intercambiador y consta de dos partes diferenciales: la que supervisa el biofouling mediante un sistema directo (muestra de película biológica), y la que controla este fenómeno no deseable de forma indirecta, por medio de la medida del factor de fricción y de la resistencia a la transferencia de calor.
