Abstract

Máquina para la limpieza de algarrobas. Está provista de una tolva (1) receptora del producto, convergente hacia una embocadura de salida (2) y en cuyo seno se establece un tambor giratorio (3) sobre el que converge el producto a través de dos deflectores, uno basculante (4) y otro fijo (7), de manera que dicho tambor, provisto de pivotes (8) y pasamanos (9), radiales, arrastra dosificadamente el producto hacia la boca (2) de salida de la tolva, donde un ventilador (11) establece una corriente de aire transversal que arrastra los residuos de baja densidad, que salen al exterior a través de una rejilla (13), cayendo las algarrobas con los residuos de mayor densidad hacia un tamiz vibrador e inferior (14), donde se produce la definitiva independización entre la algarroba, limpia, y dichos residuos de mayor densidad, tales como piedras.
