Abstract

Composición para el entrecruzamiento de resinas epoxi. La composición comprende (a) una resina epoxi, y (b) un triflato de lantánido de fórmula M(OSO{sub,2}CF{sub,3}){sub,n}, (I), donde M es el catión derivado de un lantánido, y en representa la valencia del lantánido en el compuesto; opcionalmente junto con un aditivo convencional asociado con las formulaciones de resinas epoxi. La composición puede utilizarse en cualquier aplicación propia de una resina epoxi, por ejemplo, como adhesivo, en recubrimientos, en la fabricación de laminados y en una gran variedad de aplicaciones que requieren materiales de altas prestaciones. Los triflatos de lantánido (I) son útiles como agentes de entrecruzamiento de resinas epoxi y como acelerantes en sistemas convencionales de curado de resinas epoxi.
