Abstract

Dispositivo aplicable a la captura y transmisión en tiempo real de secuencias de video a través de redes de datos de bajo ancho de banda (1), constituido a partir de una cámara digital o dispositivo de adquisición de imágenes de video (5), un microprocesador dotado de elementos periféricos asociados y un transmisor en el que en el microprocesador se articula los dispositivos de adquisición de video (6), el dispositivo de proceso y compresión de imágenes (7), y el dispositivo de comunicaciones (8), gobernados por el módulo de control (9), que conjuntamente analizan, codifican, comprimen la imagen y preparan la señal de video a transmitir por la red de datos (2), de forma que adquiere el tamaño adecuado para que sea posible su transmisión por redes de datos de baja capacidad (2) y con una adecuada calidad, agrupándose en un único volumen portátil y que posee una batería (4) que le permite ser autónomo de la red convencional de abastecimiento de electricidad, siendo capaz de asociarse con un teléfono móvil a través del dispositivo de acceso a la red de datos (10).
