Abstract
Se trata de la transformación de la energía cientica de las corrientes marinas en energía eléctrica por medio de un motor hidráulico que acciona un generador eléctrico. La corriente de agua que llega por (A) a la velocidad (v), indice sobre las palas de la hélice (1) haciéndola girar. La rotación de la hélice hace girar el rotor del generador eléctrico (2), dando lugar a la generación de energía eléctrica en el inducido. Esta pasa al transformador elevador de tensión (4) para su transporte a tierra firme con el mínimo de pérdidas.
