Dispositivo para formar y alinear paquetes de productos de imprenta (1) apilados en forma suelta, compuesto de un transportadoralimentador de entrada (2), de una mesa de soporte (3) para los paquetes y de un transportador de retirada, en el que los productos de imprenta (1) alimentados con el transportador-alimentador de entrada (2) pueden ser expulsados hacia la mesa de soporte (3) para los paquetes, caracterizado porque: la mesa de soporte (3) para los paquetes puede ser desplazada verticalmente y puede ser posicionada por lo menos en una posición superior de recogida, y -porque la altura dela mesa de soporte(3) para los paquetes está ajustada en la posición de recogida, de manera que la altura de caída de un primer producto de imprenta (1), que puede ser expulsado hacia la mesa de soporte (3) para los paquetes, sea de entre 100 y 250 mm.
