Abstract

Un procedimiento de fabricación de un miembro de material de fricción compuesto de carbono/carbono, que comprende las operaciones de: proporcionar una solución de cerámica coloidal que comprende uno de entre SiO2 y AlO(OH), infiltrar, controlablemente, la solución de cerámica coloidal en una preforma de carbono/carbono, secar la preforma, calentar la preforma para convertir la cerámica coloidal en un material refractario respectivo de SiC y AlN, densificar la preforma con carbono elemental para dotar a la preforma de una matriz de carbono y tratar térmicamente la preforma para gratizar la preforma de carbono/carbono y la matriz de carbono y proporcionar el miembro de material de fricción compuesto de carbono/carbono.
