SE DESCRIBE UN GENERADOR DE CLORO PARA LA CONSERVACION DE FRUTAS Y VERDURAS, QUE INCLUYE UNA PRIMERA CAPA DE PAPEL O POLIETILENO Y UNA SEGUNDA CAPA DE POLIETILENO. LA PRIMERA CAPA TIENE UN PESO DE APROXIMADAMENTE 20 A 70 G/M 2 A Y ESTA REAL IZADA PREFERENTEMENTE CON UN PAPEL DEL TIPO LAJA. SE PREFIERE QUE AL MENOS UNA SUPERFICIE DE LA PRIMERA CAPA SE RECUBRA CON UNA PELICULA PLASTICA PERMEABLE, COMO EL POLIETILENO, QUE TENGA UN PESO DE ALREDEDOR DE 5 A 25 G/M 2 A. LAS DOS CAPAS SE UNEN ENTRE SI, PREFERENTEMENTE POR TERMOSELLADO, A FIN DE DEFINIR UNA O MAS BOLSAS. EN LAS BOLSAS SE COLOCA UN MATERIAL A BASE DE HIPOCLORITO, POR EJEMPLO, HIPOCLORITO CALCICO. ESTE MATERIAL LIBERA GAS DE CLORO ACTIVO A SU REACCION CON LA HUMEDAD DE DICHAS FRUTAS Y VERDURAS.
