Abstract

Un neumático P, que comprende por una parte un refuerzo de carcasa formado por al menos una capa de cables radiales (1) y por otra parte por un refuerzo de corona formado por al menos una capa (3) de elementos de refuerzo continuos, coronada radialmente por varias capas de caucho, banda de rodadura (6) incluida, estando compuesta dicha capa (3) casi cilíndrica por elementos de refuerzo de elementos principales (30) metálicos, y estando coronada por una pieza lenticular de caucho (4), de sección transversal de forma creciente con un espesor máximo al menos igual a una vez la dimensión radial máxima de los elementos de refuerzo principales (30), y una anchura axial L1 como máximo igual al 80 % de la anchura axial L de la capa (3) de elementos de refuerzo, caracterizado porque dichos elementos de refuerzo principales (30) son elementos circunferenciales inextensibles, que pueden eventualmente estar separados por elementos de refuerzo secundarios (31), teniendo dichos elementos de refuerzo principales (30) dimensiones transversales y radiales mínimas al menos iguales a 0,09 veces la raíz cuadrada del radio circunferencial RS de dicha capa (3), teniendo dicha capa (3) de elementos de refuerzo un coeficiente de llenado al menos igual a 0,70, y una anchura axial L al menos igual a 0,70S, siendo S la anchura axial máxima del neumático, montado sobre su llanta de servicio e in ado a su presión de servicio, y al menos igual al 90 % de la anchura axial L0 de la banda de rodadura, y teniendo dicha pieza lenticular de caucho (4) un módulo secante, medido a 10 % de alargamiento relativo, al menos igual a 20 MPa.
