LA PRESENTE INVENCION SE REFIERE A UN PROCEDIMIENTO Y EQUIPO PARA EL TRATAMIENTO, POR EJEMPLO ANESTESIA O SACRIFICIO, DE AVES CON EL USO DE GAS. EL GAS COMPRENDE OXIGENO Y DIOXIDO DE CARBONO, ENTRE OTROS COMPONENTES. DURANTE EL TRATAMIENTO, LA CONCENTRACION DE OXIGENO SE MANTIENE A NIVEL NORMAL (18 - 22%) EN VOLUMEN. ESTO ES IMPORTANTE, YA QUE PERMITE QUE EL AVE RESPIRE NORMALMENTE MIENTRAS SE MANTIENEN LAS FUNCIONES NATURALES DEL CUERPO EN SU ESTADO NORMAL HASTA QUE TIENE LUGAR LA ANESTESIA. LA CONCENTRACION DE DIOXIDO DE CARBONO SE AUMENTA DE MANERA CONTINUA O DISCONTINUA. GRACIAS A LA PRESENTE INVENCION, SE PUEDEN ANESTESIAR LAS AVES ANTES DEL SACRIFICIO, DE MANERA QUE PRODUZCA BAJOS NIVELES DE ESTRES E INCOMODIDAD A LAS AVES, AL MISMO TIEMPO QUE LA CALIDAD DE LA CARNE ES MEJOR QUE CON EL USO DE LOS PROCEDIMIENTOS TRADICIONALES. EN ESTE EQUIPO, LAS AVES SE EXPONEN AL GAS EN UNA CAMARA (1), QUE PUEDE COMPRENDER UN TRANSPORTADOR DE CORREA (5), Y ESTAR ADEMAS SEPARADO EN TRES ZONAS DE TRATAMIENTO (2, 3 Y 4).
