LOS HERPES O LOS RETROVIRUS BIOLOGICOS O BIOTECNOLOGICOS - EN PARTICULAR FARMACEUTICOS - Y EN CULTIVOS CELULARES, SE AÑADE UN LIPOPEPTIDO CICLICO O UNA MEZCLA DE LIPOPEPTIDOS O DE SUS SALES O ESTERES EN CONCENTRACIONES DETERMINADAS. SE HA DEMOSTRADO, QUE LOS LIPOPEPTIDOS TIENEN UN POTENCIAL DE INACTIVACION SORPRENDENTEMENTE ALTO PARA VIRUS CON ENVOLTURA LIPIDICA, Y ADEMAS TIENEN LA VENTAJA DE QUE TIENEN UNA TOXICIDAD IN VIVO MUY BAJA, POR LO QUE SE PUEDE SUPRIMIR LA ETAPA DE QUITAR EL AGENTE DE INACTIVACION DE LOS PRODUCTOS FARMACEUTICOS O DEL CULTIVO CELULAR.
