Abstract

Implante Articulado Radio-cubital Distal, para sustitución del ligamento triangular. Consiste en dos tallos; uno que se implanta en el Cúbito (2) y otro a implantar en el Radio (1). Éstos se articulan entre sí al unir sus respectivas cabezas (1b y 2c), manteniendo el Cúbito en su posición natural y permitiendo realizar el movimiento de pronosupinación del antebrazo. Para el anclaje del tallo radial (1) al hueso, posee una rosca helicoidal de paso métrico (1a), que se fija por la cara externa del Radio, mediante una tuerca de fijación (4). Para el anclaje del tallo cubital (2) al hueso, posee una rosca helicoidal de paso Whitworth (2a) y una punta cónica (2b). El implante también posee una contratuerca de separación (3), diseñada con el fin de poder regular la distancia entre los dos huesos, para una mejor adaptación de éste al paciente.
