LA INVENCION SE REFIERE AL PROCEDIMIENTO PARA LA PRODUCCION DE AEROGELES MODIFICADOS MEDIANTE SUSTANCIAS ORGANOFUNCIONALES, EN EL QUE SE GELIFICA VIDRIO SOLUBLE POR POLICONDENSACION Y DESPUES, MEDIANTE EL SECADO Y LA OBTENCION DE LA ESTRUCTURA DE GEL, SE TRANSFORMA EN UN AEROGEL. EL GEL, ANTES DEL SECADO, SE HACE REACCIONAR CON AL MENOS UN COMPUESTO ORGANICO BIFUNCIONAL, DONDE AL MENOS UN GRUPO FUNCIONAL SIRVE PARA LA UNION AL AEROGEL, MIENTRAS QUE EL RESTO QUEDAN CONSERVADOS. LA INVENCION TAMBIEN HACE REFERENCIA A LOS AEROGELES OBTENIBLES MEDIANTE EL PROCEDIMIENTO DESCRITO, ASI COMO SU UTILIDAD.
