SE PRESENTAN UNA ENZIMA DE PARAOXONASA DEL SUERO HUMANO Y UN ADN (ARN) QUE CODIFICA TALES ENZIMAS DE PARAOXONASA DEL SUERO. TAMBIEN SE PRESENTA EL PROCEDIMIENTO PARA LA PRODUCCION DE TALES POLIPEPTIDOS MEDIANTE TECNICAS RECOMBINANTES. LOS USOS DE TALES POLIPEPTIDOS INCLUYEN SU USO COMO ANTIDOTO CONTRA EL ENVENENAMIENTO DE ORGANOFOSFATOS Y PARA PREVENIR LA MUERTE DE CELULAS NEURONALES. TAMBIEN SE PRESENTAN ENSAYOS DE DIAGNOSTICO PARA IDENTIFICAR LAS MUTACIONES EN UNA SECUENCIA DE ACIDOS NUCLEICOS QUE CODIFICA UN POLIPEPTIDO DE LA PRESENTE INVENCION Y PARA DETECTAR LOS NIVELES ALTERADOS DEL POLIPEPTIDO DE LA PRESENTE INVENCION.
