Abstract

Dispositivo amortiguador de caídas, del tipo que se emplea juntamente con una cuerda salvavidas (10) y un gancho (11) de mosquetón o similar para incorporarlo a un arnés llevado por un usuario, que comprende al menos una leva móvil (2) y una contraleva fija (8), ambas encerradas en una envoltura metálica externa (9), que define un paso (15) para dicha cuerda salvavidas (10) la cual corre libremente en dirección hacia arriba y hacia abajo a través del dispositivo (1) cuando el peso del usuario no está soportado por la cuerda salvavidas y que es bloqueada por la acción de la leva móvil (2) en el caso de una caída del usuario, caracterizado porque dicho paso (15) es sustancialmente rectilíneo cuando el peso del usuario no está soportado por la cuerda salvavidas (10) y porque comprende unos medios (13) de rotación de dicha leva móvil (2) alrededor de su eje (5) manualmente y de manera controlada, en una dirección opuesta a la de bloqueo dela cuerda salvavidas (10).
